Police say 5 people have been struck by cement chunks thrown by motorist


The Minneapolis Police Department is now investigating five recent reports of people struck by cement chucks thrown by a motorist driving a white Ford, possibly a Bronco.

Four cyclists and one driver have been assaulted, according to an update from MPD spokesman John Elder.

One victim sustained serious injuries July 20 at 6 p.m. when he was assaulted while biking near 22nd Avenue and 2nd Street NE. Another individual was also seriously injured while biking near West River Parkway and Lake Street on Aug. 4.
