City receives $2.7M grant to ensure services are distributed equitably


Bloomberg Philanthropies has awarded the City of Minneapolis a $2.7 million grant to create an innovation team (aka i-team) focused on ensuring city services are distributed equitably, Mayor Betsy Hodges announced Monday.

Minneapolis is one of 12 U.S. cities to receive the grant.

The Innovation Team program is focused on helping cities use data and innovative approaches to tackle urban challenges.
