Bicycle and pedestrian counters needed

Volunteers are needed to monitor traffic on city streets, sidewalks and bike paths as Minneapolis gears up for its third annual bicycle and pedestrian count in mid-September.

The count produces an annual snapshot of non-motorized traffic on Minneapolis streets. The Department of Public Works uses the data to evaluate the city’s existing infrastructure for bicyclists and walkers and plan future improvements.
