Ballpark construction to close streets

Sewer work related to construction of the new Minnesota Twins ballpark will close some Downtown streets next weekend, the Minnesota Ballpark Authority announced.
The intersection of 2nd Avenue and 6th Street, and 394 and 2nd Avenue closes at 8 p.m. on Friday. Metro Transit buses have been rerouted for the weekend and there will be no public traffic on 2nd Avenue from 7th to 5th streets. The 394 off ramp will also be closed. The intersection will reopen Monday by 6 a.m.
