Theft of catalytic converters on the rise in Northeast

The Minneapolis Police Department has issued a theft advisory for catalytic converters in Northeast.
Since Dec. 1 seven vehicles have had catalytic converters stolen in Northeast. The majority of the vehicles affected have been Toyota trucks and sport utility vehicles due to easy access and exposure of the converter.
